Help for Bats in Somerset
There are several organisations and individuals in Somerset who take and care for injured bats. Please contact them directly:
Frome Bat Care is a rescue and care ‘hospital’ for grounded and injured bats. Their intention is to return bats back to the wild, preferably in the area they came from.

Secret World – East Huntspill, Highbridge
They work 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year to rescue sick, injured or orphaned wildlife. If you find an animal in need of urgent attention outside these hours please contact your nearest veterinary surgeon. The casualty will then be transported to Secret World the following morning for ongoing care.
West Hatch Animal Care RSPCA – Taunton
We look after dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and many other types of small domestic animals. The RSPCA West Hatch Animal Centre takes in animals from RSPCA Inspectors only.
